A Manila-based Buying Office
« Thread started on: Dec 6th, 2006, 04:32am » |

International Trade is mostly Time-demanding and exacting upon all concerned - Buyer-Importers and Selling-Exporters. Hence, Foreign Buyers wanting to source Philippine HANDICRAFTS & FURNITURES normally find it cost-effective to commission a Buying Office to assist in the Buying Process - before and after.
As I am familiar with the business of HANDICRAFT & FURNITURE EXPORTS, I offer to be a Manila-based Buying Agent commissioned by foreign Buying Principals wanting to import goods originating from the Port-of-Manila.
I also extend my Offer to Overseas Filipinos wanting to promote (even while they are still living &/or working abroad) the Pilipino or Philippine-made brand by supplying the needs & wants of their respective Host-Country. I await to be of service.

This is a great idea ManilaMan! How about Handicraft-makers in the provinces? There are a lot of makers in the provinces who are looking for prospective buyers but cannot because they cannot afford to rent costly showrooms, thereby abandoning their ideas. Are you willing to become a selling agent also for handicraft-makers in the provinces?
I would rather suggest you posting your office address and contact numbers for this.. God Bless....

YES. Rural-based Philippine MSMEs could commission a Selling Agent to promote exports. But as a Selling Agent promotes the interests of his Seller-Principal and as a Buying Agent protects the interests of his Buyer-Principal, the Selling Agent and the Buying Agent should NOT be the same and one person in the same transaction for reason of Conflict-of-Interest principle.

Greenapple:
YES, ALTERBUYER Manila (my Manila-based Buying Office) could service your sourcing requirements for Filipino PROCESSED FOODS - subject to terms & conditions. I could send you my draft "Buying Service Agreement". If you so desire that I represent you in the Philippines, kindly reply directly to my email address. Awaiting.
